Vésteinn Hafsteinsson is a former discus thrower from Iceland, who represented his native country at four consecutive Summer Olympics, starting in 1984. Nowadays he is an international throwing coach with many success stories, including Gerd Kanter and Olympic Gold from Beijing 2008.
Tore Gustafsson is a retired male hammer thrower from Sweden, who competed at three consecutive Summer Olympics, starting in 1988 (Seoul, South Korea). Since his retirement from competition, he has enjoyed success as a hammer coach. Among athletes Tore has coached is Koji Murofushi the most famous. Koji won the Gold Medal at 2011 World Championships in Daegu Korea and Bronze Medal at the 2012 London Olympics with Gustafsson as his Coach. In 2016, another of his athletes, Great Britain's Sophie Hitchon, won bronze in the hammer at the 2016 Olympic Games, her country's first ever global medal in that discipline
Szymon had a long career topped by an Olympic gold in Sydney in 2000.
He also won the World Championships in 2001 and he took silver at the World's in 2005 and
2009. Szymon's personal best 83.38 m was set at the World's in 2001.
Since 2015 Szymon is a member of the Polish parliament.
